Presentation Guideline


  Oral Presentation Sessions
  • Please arrive at the presentation room at least 10 minutes before the session begins.
  • Upload your presentation materials, such as your Microsoft PowerPoint file, onto the computer located at the front of the room, and verify that it runs smoothly.
  • Introduce yourself to the session chair so they are aware of who will be presenting the paper.
  • Each oral presentation session lasts 1 hour and 30 minutes, with 6 papers scheduled. To keep things running smoothly, aim to finish your presentation within 15 minutes, leaving 3-4 minutes for questions and answers.
  • Effective time management is crucial, as attendees may move between sessions based on their interests.

  Poster Sessions
  • Each poster presentation is allocated a poster board that can accommodate a minimum of 8 pages in either A4 or letter size.
  • The poster session is allocated for one and a half hours.
  • Please arrive at the location of your poster session at least 15 minutes before the session starts.
  • Post your poster on the poster board assigned to you.
  • Please stay around your assigned poster board during the poster session.


For those who are unable to travel to Japan, the APIC-IST 2024 Committee is accepting video presentations. Please email your 10-minute video presentation file to ksii@ksii.or.kr.

  Video Presentation Guidelines / Video File Deadline: June 20, 2024
Followings are detailed specifications for your video presentation.

  • Use PowerPoint: Create your presentation using PowerPoint slides.
  • Presentation Time: Ensure that your presentation is 10 minutes or less in duration.
  • File Size: 100MB or less.
  • File Format: Save your video presentation in the *.mp4 format. It is recommended to use the H.264 codec for compatibility and quality.
  • Resolution: The recommended resolution for your video presentation is 1280x720 or 720p.
  • File Naming: Session number_Specifier name (affiliated)
    Ex) S1-1_Gildong-Hong (Korea University)

Notes: The video presentation should only record the presentation materials displayed on the screen, such as slides or visuals. The appearance of the presenter should not be shown in the video. This ensures that the focus remains on the content being presented rather than the presenter themselves.
